PEDIPEDS ON DAYTIME TV ONCE AGAIN

There is a cute little clip of the ladies on the MSN daytime talk show TODAY raving about Pedipeds.

WE LOVE KIDS has always loved the infant Pedipeds; they are referring here to the ones a step larger.

Many people ask us about the consignment policy so in order to put it out there without making thousands of paper copies, we decided to put it into our blog.  Here you can review it at any time or tell your friends.

Consigner Information and Agreement

Bringing items in:

            I will make an appointment by calling (503) 659-4577 ahead of time.

            Clothes will be clean, in-fashion, smoke-free, not torn or stained, and neatly folded or on hangers.   I will bring in about 20-35 items at a time, in the correct season, and I understand that the manager reserves the right to accept only the items appropriate to the shop’s merchandise mix, size ranges carried and in good condition.  This applies to furniture and equipment as well.

             I will fill out the needed information and retain the sales code issued to me.

Preparing the items for sale:

            I understand that tagging and logging can take up to 30 days and that plenty of lead time needs to be allowed before items hit the sales floor.  I also realize that items will only be put out according to the appropriate season, generally Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.

Selling process:

            I understand that the consignment rate is 50% of the selling price.  The manager sets the prices of the items.  WE LOVE KIDS reserves the right to advertise sales, coupon specials and other promotions which may affect the final selling price.  It is my responsibility to encourage friends and family to visit the shop -- in other words, to GET THE WORD OUT!

Payment:

            Consignment checks will be mailed on the 10th of February, 10th of May, 10th of August, and 10th of November and cover all commissions earned during the previous three months.  Commissions under $5.00 may be held until the next pay period.  It is up to me to report any change of phone or address.

Length of agreement:

            Merchandise must be left for at least six months to allow for an adequate selling time on the floor.  Items which have no season will remain out until they sell. If items are found to be stained, run or defective, they may be donated to a charitable organization by WE LOVE KIDS at the time the problem is noted.  If you wish to pick up unusable merchandise, please so state at the time you sign this agreement.  After six months, seasonal changes may cause clothing items to be put into storage, but items continuing on the sales floor will be commissionable as usual.  We do not do anything with the items except try to sell them.  They are still your items and you may come to look for them at any time.  We take our role as your agent very seriously and consider it our fiduciary responsibility to keep track of everything.  Please direct any questions on policy to Susan Love, owner, at (503) 659-4577 Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 p.m.
