Early indications show that children's fashions will circle back around to the basics for the coming Fall season, WE LOVE KIDS learned from Earnshaw's and other kids magazines. The trend is because so many parents are tired of buying things that go out of style, especially with our limited budgets these days, and also because younger children have been targeted to styles that imitate fashions of teenagers. Many parents disapprove of the too short shorts and skinny jeans on little kids.
What "the classics" means is plaids, jumpers, blazers, Peter Pan collars and basically the styles that always hold up year after year. Polo shirts and traditional dresses are always a safe bet. Manufacturers will liven and update these traditionals with new stylish colors, fits and lengths.
